6. Shipping, Returns, and Cancelations

This Section 6 applies to Bit Part Shop Products that are physical goods. For clarity, this Section 6 applies despite any contrary terms in any invoice or purchase order.

Orders are shipped using carriers selected by Bit Part. The shipping fees you will be charged, if any, will be provided to you before you confirm your order. If we provide you with an estimated shipping date, the estimated delivery date is not guaranteed, and inventory shortages or events beyond our control could impact the delivery date. This is especially true for preorder and backorder products. Bit Part is not liable for delivery later than the estimated delivery date, or for any loss, damage, or penalty you may incur from a delay in shipment or delivery. Unless otherwise noted in the product description, each Bit Part Shop Product will be delivered EXW shipping origin (Incoterms 2020).

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right.

Unless otherwise noted in the product description, Bit Part Shop Products may be returned in their original packaging and condition (including all accessories and components provided) within 30 days of delivery. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. However, unless we tell you otherwise, you will only be entitled to a refund if we provide you with an item that does not match the product description of the item that you purchased. If that occurs, your exclusive remedy is to return the item in unused condition, in exchange for a refund. To begin the return process, please contact us. Return shipping instructions will be provided. Bit Part will cover the cost of return shipping and will refund your purchase price in full. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Returns received not in their original packaging and condition may be rejected or subject to a partial refund at Bit Part’s sole discretion. Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at contact@bitpart.com.

Reservations and orders for preorder, backorder, and custom products may be canceled for a full refund if Bit Part has not yet started procurement, manufacturing, or custom work for the ordered or reserved product. After procurement, manufacturing, or custom work has started cancelations may be available for a partial refund at Bit Part’s sole discretion.

Bit Part may make exceptions to Section 6 on a case-by-case basis and at their sole discretion.
